"That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:4-5

Finally--an apron!

I know this may seem so silly, but I have wanted an apron for SO long!  Finally I got one for my birthday this year.  The funny thing is, the purpose of the apron is to protect my clothes, but I'm finding myself not wanting to put it on because I don't want to get it dirty!  So silly!!  But it is pretty and feminine, and I really love it.

I also keep forgetting to post pictures of my precious little Adam's 1st birthday.  I can hardly believe that it's been a year!  He is growing way, way too fast.  I feel like he went from baby to little boy overnight.  I'm really hoping the Lord chooses to bless us with another little one sometime!  Here are some pictures of him:

Isn't he adorable?

In other news, Annamarie got her top braces off today!

She went from this:

My how she is growing!

Blessings to you and your family!

  1. Oh, how I love aprons! I started collecting them because I love them so much. My mom has found me some vintage aprons at a little antique store she likes to go to. I just love how I feel in an apron, I def. don't feel like being idle, that's for sure. I tend to get up and work happily around the house when I'm wearing one of my aprons. I love yours too!
Adorable pictures of your little boy, my fav. was the one with the shark towel- it was so cute. And your daughter is a very lovely young lady. I can tell you're a proud mama!
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love the Lord too! It's always wonderful to 'meet' another Christian. Your daughter's teeth look great after her braces..she won't be afraid to smile now! One is such an important birthday for a mum..to me it always seemed that they were much more grown up after turning one.

  3. Hello April,

I love aprons too and I know what you mean about being too pretty to get dirty lol.

Happy belated Birthday to your sweet little Adam, he is such a cutie...

Braces certainly make a big difference dont they? Annamarie would be very pleased with the end result I would think.

    Have a wonderful day,

    Tania
