Okay, that was GOOD. I just finished a delicious smoothie and I must share it! Here is what I had:
Strawberry Vanilla Smoothie
3 oranges
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 T flax oil
Puree the strawberries in a blender. Juice oranges and add them to the strawberries. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Soooo yummy!!
There is not a lot of blogging time today, but I will close with a passage from Psalms that I just read in my book, "Educating the Whole Hearted Child":
O my people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things of old--what we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep his commands. ~Psalm 78 1-7
Encouraging women to fully embrace their God-given role of being a keeper at home. Living life simply: loving Jesus, loving our husbands, loving our children, joyfully homesteading, living frugally, homeschooling, gardening....LIFE!
"That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:4-5
